Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or or 6 years of experience in the closely related field.
• PEGA Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification
• 6 years of experience in leading and supporting the development of highly transactional, mission critical applications in environments/architectures for multi-user systems
• 2 years working in an Agile environment following Scrum/Kanban, or Lean methodologies
• 2 years of experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release and operational support
• 2 years of experience with software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the deployment of large-scale Pega projects
• Develop BPM applications, integrate web services, designing data models and frameworks, and collate business analysis requirements
• Design and develop Pega BPM reusable, scalable components and applications as per the design standards
• Define and implement PEGA best practices, integrates with streaming and event driven architectures
• Perform solution architecture within the Pega PRPC environment
• Design class structures, application frameworks, test suite and data models
• Coordinate with the scrum team, Enterprise Architects and the product owner to ensure the architecture matches the needs of the customer
• Integrate business databases, legacy systems, and web services
• Troubleshoot application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks
• Conduct system performance tests
• Maintain the security of all system applications
• Mentor, coach team members and brings them up to speed with Pega Framework
